The ten doctors of the Illinois Eye Center are providing their services in this 45,000 square foot facility on the north edge of Peoria (8921 Wood Sage Rd, Peoria, IL 61615). This medical office building was designed from the ground up to be very efficient from a business standpoint while being open and inviting from a patient perspective.
Medical Office Building Design and Construction
The ground floor houses over 40 exam lanes and numerous other diagnostic rooms. A separate LASIK procedure suite with pre and post-operative care facilities is included along with an AAAASF accredited operating suite. A special ten lane pediatric suite also occupies the west side of the lower level. A modern retail optical store and laboratory is positioned in the center of the building.
The second floor houses the business, information technology, human resource and administrative offices. The well-landscaped parking lot provides 277 on-grade parking spaces for an expected patient load of over 400 people per day.
The exterior of the building is designed with prairie style architecture and features two colors of brick and the use of metal panel and cast stone accents. The facility landscaping continues the prairie motif by incorporating prairie grasses and plants.
