Greg Bachler is the Director of Estimating at PJ Hoerr, joining the company in January 2022. Greg earned his BS in Construction Management from Bradley University in 1993, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and later received his MS in Civil Engineering in 1997.
Greg has extensive experience estimating multi-million-dollar projects across various sectors, including education, municipal, and infrastructure. His role has included overseeing staff, enhancing estimating systems, and leading efforts on large-scale projects.
Outside of his professional career, Greg has been an active member of the Greater Peoria Contractors and Suppliers Association (GCPSA), serving on multiple committees. He also spent five years as an adjunct professor at Bradley University, contributing to the education of future construction professionals.
Greg has been married to his wife Jean for 24 years. Together, they enjoy traveling, particularly to their favorite destination, Tybee Island, Georgia, and exploring the Midwest. They have a son together as well as a miniature golden doodle named Clancy.
