Graham Hospital reached out to our P.J. Hoerr Healthcare team and asked if we could assist them with their COVID-19 response plans. Using the guidelines set forth by the CDC, the American Society for Hospital Engineers and ASHRAE, we were able to create additional patient isolation rooms to use in the event of a COVID-19 surge. These temporary spaces are designed to isolate and negatively pressurize the patient room to prevent potential airborne spread of the virus outside of the patient room. Additionally, P.J. Hoerr helped Graham Hospital develop policies to be used by construction staff that allow critical construction projects to continue during this time.
