Alliance Wheel fabricates and supplies railroad wheels. This project consists of a 1-story 28,000 sq. ft. metal building. The building consists of a new 5,900 sq. ft. office, breakroom, and locker room. The locker room also serves as a storm shelter with a mezzanine for mechanical equipment and storage. The remaining portion of the building is for owner supplied equipment for the fabrication of the railroad wheels. This equipment required numerous concrete pits for the owner furnished equipment. In addition, we had to embed railroad track in the slab pours so the wheels could roll from station to station.
