Today found site concrete pads completed, painting in the HVAC training lab (precast building), finishing up drywall in the west building and MEP overhead rough-in for both wings.
In Greater Peoria, 60% of jobs require a credential past high school. Currently, only 40% of adults in the region have a post-secondary credential. The new Workforce Sustainability Center will help to build a credentialed workforce to the needed 60% by offering pre-apprenticeship and entry-level training in the 13 programs most essential to accelerating workforce development and manufacturing in Central Illinois.
The Workforce Sustainability Center will be a tremendous asset for our region’s economy to attract new investment, support, and growth with a ready and skilled talent pool for years to come.
