Demolition of nearby building

This three phase project consists of a new patron/staff parking lot, a 24,000 square foot two-story addition, and remodeling of a 21,000 square foot portion of the existing building. Phase one was to demo an abandoned bank building across the street from the church to build a new fifty eight car parking lot.

Two-Story Building Expansion

Phase two was to demo the existing parking lot adjacent to the church so that the addition could be constructed. The addition in phase two included a full basement with new administrative offices, public restrooms, auxiliary support spaces such as mechanical rooms and data/networking closets, and a shelled space for future finish out.

The first floor of the addition houses a two story lobby and entry space, a grand staircase, a public elevator, a drive up/drop off canopy/entry, and a new 400 seat contemporary worship space complete with a performance stage, audio/video booth, a green room, and equipment storage rooms. The small second floor mezzanine space flows into the two story lobby/entry below and provides access to the addition from the second floor of the existing facility.

Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Architectural Remodeling

The third phase is the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural remodeling of the first and second floors of the existing facility that houses the administrative offices, the children’s nursery area, and the education classrooms for the church. The space that housed the relocated offices gets remodeled into a gathering and fellowship space in between the existing traditional sanctuary and the new contemporary worship center. The nursery and the classroom spaces receive updated electrical systems and fresh architectural finishes.
