This project consists of a new facility to expand the existing institute main administration and classroom functions in order to enhance both the capabilities and capacity of the institute to fulfill its statutory responsibilities and serve the fire and emergency services community.
Expansion for State Training & Research Facility
The facility houses an enlarged library, firefighter life safety and homeland security research laboratories, a full-scale Emergency Operations Center/Unified Command Center training facility, and an A/V enriched conference center capable of hosting multi-lingual presentations and major conference events.
